Alberta Foothills Fall Colours

Welcome Fall

If I Were Asked — Fall is my favourite time of year. From the Indian Summer to the days of north wind, first snow, and below zero (F), there is something about this time of year that resonates deep within me.
Early morning gravel travel calls. Watching the sunrise while sipping a cup of steaming coffee brought along in a thermos. Wandering across open spaces to capture moments others may never get to experience.
As the sun rises, its light shimmers across last night’s dusting of frost until the day’s warmth encourages the crystals to dissipate, leaving a palette of fall colours. Welcome Fall.

  1. Lovely piece; very gentle and evocative of autumn (as we call it over the pond!)
