Doodle Disaster




Glasses resting against the wart at the end of his nose, his temper bubbled. Hand shaking, gin sloshed out of the tumbler. His apprentice assumed the doodle drawings were the instructions to cut the ruby. Two careers ruined. The empty glass flew across the room.

  2. Ruby and Gin : A Terpsichorean Tragedy

    Ruby and Gin loved to dance among the fallen tombstones. They’d dipsy doodle around the markers, rain or shine. Grief stricken mourners, seeking to temper their displeasure, would politely ask the gamboling duo, “Wart’s ya doin’ here? We’re deep in sorrow.”
    It phased them not.
