Prompt:
- Focus on any one of: an object, a location, an animal, a bird, etc.
- Set a timer for 3 (three) minutes
- Write from the perspective of what your focus item is seeing or doing
No editing, just write
- At the end of the 3 minutes take at least a 10 minute break away where you wrote the words
- Think about what you wrote – not to make corrections, the story that evolved
After 10 minutes, downsize the three minutes of writing into 37 words
- Use a format that is comfortable – i.e. story, poetry, report, humorous, sad, sassy – your choice
- Remember, end result must continue to be in perspective of the focus item
POV: Any. It must be from the perspective of the focus object
